What are the levels of protection for an engine?
Level 1
Intake Air Precleaner
The Sy-Klone Precleaner and Optimax® use the engine’s intake pressure to eject up to 90% of dirt and debris before it reaches the air filter. These systems work reliably in virtually all conditions, from heavy snow to heavy dust. Sy-Klone Precleaners come in a range of sizes to fit an off-road 4×4 up to the largest mining Haul Truck.
Level 2
XLR Powered Precleaner®
Built for demanding environments, the XLR precleaner delivers up to 10x engine filter life. A powered precleaner and filter in one, it handles fine particulate matter, humidity, and extreme dust with high ejection efficiency and dual-stage filtration up to 350 CFM per unit.
Level 3
Vortex® MAX
Vortex® MAX is a heavy-duty engine precleaner that combines proven, powered technology with high-efficiency filtration, protecting larger engines from the harmful impact of dust and debris up to 600 CFM per unit.
